Immediate opening for a Formulation Chemist to support the US Army Edgewood Chemical Biological Center in suburban Baltimore, Maryland. The successful candidate will develop reactive solutions for neutralization and destruction of warfare and other hazardous chemical agents. The successful candidate will be skilled in:
- Clean compound formulation
- Analysis of reactive components
- Formulation optimization
- Analysis of solution penetration
- Functional ingredient development
Experience with design of experiment (DOE) or optimization is advantageous.
A Ph.D. in chemistry or equivalent experience is required. A Materials Scientist with the right experience may also be a fit. Should be proficient with standard statistical analysis packages as well as MS Office. Excellent oral and written communication skills required.
