The successful candidate will develop reactive solutions for neutralization and destruction of warfare and other hazardous chemical agents. The successful candidate will be skilled in:
- Clean compound formulation
- Analysis of reactive components
- Formulation optimization
- Analysis of solution penetration
- Functional ingredient development
Experience with design of experiment (DOE) or optimization is advantageous.
A Ph.D. in chemistry or equivalent experience is required. A Materials Scientist with the right experience may also be a fit. Should be proficient with standard statistical analysis packages as well as MS Office. Excellent oral and written communication skills required.
